FUN DRIVING COURSE- 3 DAYS

Carriage Driving is perfect for:

An additional way to enjoy your horse
An alternative to riding for all ages
Horse lovers who are no longer able to ride comfortably
Adults and children who are new to horses and /or hesitant to ride

THE COURSE INCLUDES:

DAY 1: Harnessing up, putting to, and taking out, unharnessing, BASICS OF THE DRESSAGE PHASE OF CARRIAGE DRIVING.

DAY 2: LONG REINING AS PART OF TRAINING A HORSE TO CARRIAGE AND testing the skill and competence of the driver. The objective is to drive through narrowly spaced pairs of BOXES with only centimetres to spare on either side of the wheels! BOX Driving requires a steady hand, nerves of steel

DAY 3: the speed and endurance, TESTS the driver's knowledge of pace AND ABILITY TO GUIDE THE HORSES ROUND A SET COURSE OF OBSTACLES AND HAZARDS.

ON THE FINAL DAY (DAY 3) THERE WILL BE A SMALL COMPETITION COVERING ALL 3 PHASES OF CARRIAGE DRIVING, PARENTS AND FRIENDS WILL BE ABLE TO COME AND SEE YOU ALL IN ACTION,
